Premdor and Rockways site set to provide new homes and jobs.

Sible Hedingham, is part of six key ‘service villages’ within this strategy. Bringing 236 new homes and new employment opportunities. The Braintree District Core Strategy of September 2011 aimed to bring regeneration to the Braintree area.
The growth in these ‘service villages’ is thought to help secure their continued sustainability. “The creation of a  new high quality environment , with a strong sense of place, providing a safe, attractive and enduring development , in character with the local area”, Braintree District council spokesman.

To celebrate the

launch of the Portas Pilot scheme which provides Braintree town with thousands of pounds in funding, the town plan to hold a shoppers event at Market Street. The event will last just one day and the whole community is encouraged to come and support the town's small businesses.

REGENERATION OR OVER POPULATION?

Hedingham Hawks Heroes

Hedingham Hawks uner 15s beat Halstead town 3-1 on saturday to win the District cup title. The mixed gender team won the match with their second goal at 35 minutes by Samantha Jones. Their coach, Keiran Hammersmith says he is: "very pround of the team, they have worked extremely hard this season and the work has finaly paid off!"
